Three films from our festival selections were chosen by 
Standard Vision to be part of a Summer Showcase in 2018.

These films showed on a 4-storey tall screen at L.A.Live. At the end of the season, Standard Vision also hosted a pretty awesome party at Hotel Figueroa.

Dancinema is offered as an Arts Elective at
Lowell School in Washington, D.C.

Jen Ray also curates screenings throughout the year 
& offers other classes such as Costume Design & Choreography  in her role as Middle School Dance & Theater Arts Teacher.

The JaM Youth Project is a pre-professional tap dance company and training project based in Washington, D.C. 

JYP trains with Mark Orsborn and guest teachers during events throughout the year including our summer JaM Camp.

Jen Ray offers teaches personal and professional development classes and has collaborated with JYP on their 
dancefilms, which have been selected to screen at numerous festivals.

Our 2019 Cascadia Dance & Cinema Festival partnered with
VanTap and VITDF on events such as feature film screening of the documentary American Tap and a "Tap Dance In Media" panel discussion with Andrew Nemr, Max Pollak, Danny Nielson, Demi Remick  & Jen Ray.

Jen Ray has been on the Cucalorus Programming Team

for three years, focusing on Dance, Dancefilm, and Stage.

Before then, Dancinema and The JaM Youth Project
dancefilms earned multiple screening 
selections. 

A highlight was Dancinema's Summer 2015 Residency.
